DESCRIPTION
Meet Pickles, a three year old German Shorthaired Pointer mix weighing 52 pounds.
Pickles is ready to add a little extra flavor to your life! This active, outgoing girl is full of personality and always seems excited to see what the next adventure holds. Strong, muscular, and built for activity, Pickles approaches life with enthusiasm and curiosity. If there’s something new to investigate, she wants to be the first one there.
Pickles loves to follow her nose and is endlessly curious about the world around her. Every walk becomes an exciting mission as she takes in all the sights and smells. The good news? She absolutely loves being out on leash and is more than happy to head out for walks, hikes, or any adventure you have in mind.
We think Pickles has a lot of German Shorthaired Pointer in her, and many dogs with that breed background are known for being intelligent, athletic, and energetic companions who thrive when they have opportunities for both physical exercise and mental enrichment. They’re often eager to be involved in whatever their people are doing, and Pickles definitely seems to fit that "let’s go do something fun" attitude.
Pickles is looking for a home that will appreciate her active spirit and adventurous heart. If you're searching for a loyal sidekick who wants to explore the world by your side, Pickles may be ready to lead the way—nose first, of course.

ABOUT: GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTER DOG BREED
The German Shorthaired Pointer is a versatile and intelligent sporting dog breed known for its athleticism and hunting abilities. With a striking coat that is typically liver and white, these dogs are energetic, loyal, and make excellent companions for active families. They excel in various canine sports, such as agility and field trials, and are eager to please their owners. Their keen sense of smell and natural hunting instincts make them ideal for hunting birds and small game. Socialization and mental stimulation are essential for the well being of this breed.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
