Ocean is a stunning 2-year-old German Shepherd weighing 56 pounds who is searching for a Shepherd-savvy family to call her own. Her world was turned upside down when her owner's health declined and they could no longer keep her. Ocean was surrendered to ACCT Philly and quickly transferred to us for a second chance at the life she deserves.

Her previous owner described Ocean as a smart, playful, and high-energy companion who was housebroken and lived successfully with three children. Since arriving with us and experiencing so many recent changes, Ocean has been a bit shy while she settles in, but she has proven herself to be a very good girl. She walks nicely on leash, pays close attention to her handler's cues, and is treat-motivated, making her a fun and rewarding dog to work with.

Like many young German Shepherds, Ocean thrives on engagement and would love a home that can provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Beneath her gentle and slightly reserved exterior is a loyal companion who is eager to bond with her people.

Ocean is looking for a Shepherd-loving home where she can continue to build her confidence and flourish. She would prefer a home without cats. She will need a meet-and-greet with resident dogs to ensure it's the right match for everyone.
