Marigold is a sweet French Bulldog believed to be around four years old who is getting her first taste of life as a beloved family dog. After being discarded by a puppy mill due to a medical condition, she was rescued, received life-saving care, and is recovering well. She may have applications in progress, but is currently available.
Marigold adores people, especially children, and loves nothing more than cuddling in a warm lap or being showered with affection. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs who respect her space and has been curious but largely ignored her foster family's cat. Since arriving in her foster home, Marigold has been busy healing and discovering the world around her. She's recovering well from surgery, enjoying meals, and soaking up all the love and attention she can find. While she may still need some medical follow-up, she continues to make steady progress every day.
Like many mill dogs, Marigold is learning all the things most dogs take for granted. She is working hard on house training and crate training and is making progress, though she isn't quite there yet. She is curious about everything around her and wants to explore, even if she's still figuring out what toys are for and isn't quite ready to play with them. Despite everything she's been through, Marigold's gentle personality shines through. Every day she grows a little more confident, a little more comfortable, and a little more sure that she is finally safe and loved.
Adoption fee is $375 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.
STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs. We encourage interested individuals to get approved prior to searching as it helps expedite the process. A Petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application.
