Daisy Elise is a 14-year-old Chihuahua who came to Stop the Suffering after her beloved elderly owner lost stable housing and could no longer care for her. While it was undoubtedly a heartbreaking decision, her owner selflessly gave Daisy the opportunity to find a family who can provide for her through her retirement years and cherish her as much as he has.
For a senior girl, Daisy is in remarkably good health and has adjusted beautifully to foster life. She has quickly made herself at home, spending her days curled up napping alongside her foster's other dogs—often with the cutest little tongue sticking out. It's impossible not to smile when you see her peacefully snoozing.
Daisy is already spayed and, according to her previous owner, has lived successfully with cats. She has the gentle, easygoing personality that makes senior dogs such wonderful companions.
If you've ever considered opening your heart to a senior dog, Daisy is waiting to show you just how much love can fit into a tiny package. She's not looking for adventure—just a cozy bed, a warm lap, and someone who will spoil her rotten for the rest of her days.
Adoption fee is $250.00 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.
