Meet Trinity! Trinity is a beautiful 1-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog mix weighing about 42 pounds. This sweet girl was recently rescued from a puppy mill and has only been in her foster home for a couple of weeks, but she is already discovering just how wonderful life can be.
Despite her past, Trinity is incredibly sweet and friendly and absolutely loves attention and affection from people. She also does great with other dogs and enjoys spending time socializing with her canine friends or simply wandering around the backyard and taking in her newfound freedom.
Trinity has been doing wonderfully with potty training. She has had no accidents in her crate and appears to be house-trained, although adopters should expect that she may have an occasional accident while adjusting to a new home and routine.
Because Trinity spent the beginning of her life in a puppy mill, many of the things other dogs take for granted are completely new to her. She still needs to learn how to walk on a leash and will need some help with basic doggie manners. She's looking for a patient, loving family who will give her the time and encouragement she needs as she continues learning about life as a beloved companion. A fenced yard and another dog in the home is required for adoption of Trinity, no exceptions! Right now, Trinity is simply enjoying the things she should have had all along—freedom, friends, a backyard to explore, and lots and lots of hugs. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate girl and would love to be part of Trinity's happily-ever-after, she may be the perfect addition to your family!
Adoption fee is $375 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.
STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs. We encourage interested individuals to get approved prior to searching as it helps expedite the process. A Petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application. For detailed information about our adoption process, including fees, please visit our website at http://www.stopthesuffering.org.
