Batter Up Betty - Flat Coated Retriever and Black Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in New Orleans, Louisiana

Meet Betty Up Betty! The Little Explorer of the Sandlot Kids!
"Heroes get remembered, but legends never die!" And this little girl is ready to write a legendary story of her own! With a curious nose, fluffy ears, and a world full of possibilities ahead of her, Betty Up Betty is ready to step up to the plate and see where life takes her!
Betty is one of eight precious puppies in Take Paws Rescue's Sandlot Kids litter, inspired by the beloved movie The Sandlot! Born on August 28, 2026, Betty and her seven siblings had a "ruff" start when their mama, Ruthie, delivered them under a trailer. Thankfully, their story is taking a happier turn, and this adventurous little girl is ready to discover all the wonderful things life has waiting for her.
With her adorable fluffy ears and sweet white chin, Betty is a real head-turner. But it's her curious spirit that makes her extra special! She's eager to explore her new world, meet people, investigate other pets, and figure out what exciting things might be around the next corner. For Betty, every new face is a potential friend, and every new experience is an opportunity for adventure!
This little girl isn't waiting around for someone else to show her the way. She's ready to chart a path of her very own, with plenty of puppy discoveries, playtime, and snuggles along the way. She'll need a family who can help her navigate this big, exciting world, teach her all the important puppy lessons, and encourage her adventurous spirit as she grows.
Betty's beginning may have been less than ideal, but her future is wide open. With a loving family by her side, this little explorer can grow into a confident, happy companion ready for whatever adventures lie ahead.
Ready to let Betty Up Betty join your team? She's ready to explore the world, make new friends, and hit a home run straight into your heart!
Betty will be vaccinated, microchipped and spayed, all covered by her adoption fee.
