Darling Darla - Flat Coated Retriever and Black Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in New Orleans, Louisiana

Meet Darling Darla! Our Tiny Diamond Darling of the Sandlot Kids!
Every team needs a sweetheart, and the Sandlot Kids have one very special little gem! Meet Darling Darla, a petite little princess with a heart full of love and a whole lot of sweetness packed into one tiny package.
Darla is one of eight precious puppies in Take Paws Rescue's Sandlot Kids litter, inspired by the beloved movie The Sandlot! Born on August 28, 2026, Darla and her seven siblings had a "ruff" start when their mama, Ruthie, delivered them under a trailer. But this little diamond is getting her chance to sparkle, and we have a feeling she's going to shine brighter every day!
True to her name, Darla is as sweet as they come. She's petite, mellow, and ready to meet everyone who might have a little love to share. While some puppies are busy making a name for themselves with nonstop antics, Darla has mastered the art of winning hearts the gentler way.
Her happy place? Curled up with a warm human or snuggled beside a fellow canine friend. Whether she's tucked into your arms or cozied up with a furry buddy for a peaceful puppy snooze, Darla is happiest when she's close to someone who makes her feel safe and loved.
This tiny darling doesn't need to be the loudest player on the field to be a star. Her gentle nature and cuddly personality are more than enough to make her a first-round draft pick for anyone looking for a loving little companion!
Darla's story is just beginning, and she deserves a lifetime of soft blankets, warm snuggles, kind hands, and a family who will treasure her as much as she will treasure them.
Looking for a little diamond to call your own? Darling Darla is ready to shine her way right into your heart!
Darla will be vaccinated, microchipped and spayed, all covered by her adoption fee.
