This adorable 7 year old Dachshund mix weighs about 20 pounds, though hed be happiest and healthiest closer to 15 to 16 pounds. With a little exercise, healthy meals, and lots of love, hell be feeling his best in no time.

Chico is the definition of a companion dog. He absolutely adores his people and wants to be wherever you are. Whether youre heading out for a car ride, relaxing at home, taking a walk around the neighborhood, or simply spending time in the yard, Chico is happiest when hes included. Some might call him a little clingy, but we prefer to think of him as wonderfully devoted. He forms strong bonds with his family and has so much love to give.

This sweet boy has fantastic manners, too. Chico is house trained, crate trained, and loves riding in the car. Hes friendly with everyone he meets and has an easygoing personality that makes him a joy to have around. His previous family loved him dearly but, unfortunately, could no longer care for him, and over time he gained more weight than is healthy. His future family will simply need to help him stay active and maintain a healthy diet so he can enjoy many happy years ahead.

Chico is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and will receive a health certificate prior to adoption.
