Rex is a handsome 3 year old Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix weighing around 9 pounds, and he is every bit as sweet as he is adorable. When he first arrived in rescue, his coat was heavily matted and in desperate need of some TLC. After a fresh grooming and lots of love, Rex is feeling like a brand new dog and his happy, affectionate personality has truly blossomed.
If you ask Rex what his favorite place in the world is, the answer is easy: your lap. This little guy absolutely loves being close to his people and is happiest when hes soaking up all the cuddles he can get. Some might call him a little needy, but we think hes simply full of love and looking for a family to share it with. Whether youre watching TV, reading a book, or working from home, Rex will gladly volunteer to be your constant companion.
Rex has a wonderfully calm and easygoing personality. Hes not a yappy little dog and gets along beautifully with everyone he meets. He loves other dogs, does well with cats, and has the kind of gentle temperament that makes him an easy addition to just about any home. Hes also house-trained and crate-trained, making the transition into his forever family even easier.
Rex is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and will receive a health certificate prior to adoption.
