Meet Mystic (aka Misty, Sweetie Pie, Honey)! This 3-year-old, 12-pound powerhouse is affectionate, cuddly, sweet, and smart — a true velcro dog who rolls with whatever life throws at her. She's moderate energy and people-oriented through and through, warming up quickly to new faces and settling into any situation with ease. She's good on leash and housebroken, though she's a bit of a talker when it comes to passing dogs and squirrels — a leash-walking work in progress she's actively improving on with some extra attention.
Despite tiny legs, Mystic is built for movement — she happily logs about 3 miles a day and would make a great workout companion for the right person, though she's just as content curling up on the couch or your lap for snuggle time. She's not really a toy dog; her favorite activity is simply being near you. Mystic would do best as an only dog in a calm household with one or two adults or teens who love long walks, quiet evenings, and lots of affection — she gets along with other dogs but prefers being the center of attention, which honestly, she's earned. Her foster describes her as the ultimate companion: once she has your heart, she's your shadow for life. Whoever adopts Mystic will never be lonely again.
