Leon is a two-year-old, 12-pound bundle of pure chihuahua charm. Sweet, cuddly, and full of that signature chihuahua personality, this little guy has a lot of love to give — on his own terms, of course! Leon is a low-energy companion who is equally happy being independent or snuggling close, making him a wonderfully balanced housemate. He's already mastered crate training and uses wee-wee pads like a pro, so he's well on his way to settling beautifully into his forever home.
Leon is a dog who takes life at his own gentle pace, and that's part of what makes him so endearing. He may be a little shy at first with new people and situations, but he's been growing braver every day — and once he warms up to you, he'll be climbing right into your lap for belly rubs (which he's just recently started requesting, and it is as adorable as it sounds!). He loves to supervise from the kitchen, is building confidence on walks, and enjoys having toys in his crate even if full-on playtime is still on the horizon. With other dogs, he does best when given space and a slow, respectful introduction. The secret to winning Leon's heart? Simply patience.
Leon is perfectly suited for calm apartment living and would thrive with a patient, gentle adopter who appreciates a low-key companion. He doesn't need a big yard or a packed schedule — he needs someone who will let him bloom at his own speed. His absolute favourite way to experience the world is from the cosy comfort of a carry bag, tagging along on all of life's little adventures. If you're looking for a loyal, sweet-natured sidekick who will reward your patience with unconditional snuggles, Leon is your little man.
