Meet Marlene, a 1.5-year-old 55lb mix-breed who is equal parts brains and heart. She's deeply affectionate and loyal, the kind of dog who wants to be near her person at all times — she will follow you everywhere, and she means it. She's smart, crate trained, and potty trained, fully up to date on vaccines - she's ready to go! She's calm and settled on city walks and does great at the dog park when introductions are done properly, but she is a strong dog on leash and will need an adopter who can handle that confidently and keep up her leash training.
Marlene does best as the only female dog in the home, where she can channel all that loyalty and focus into one person and truly thrive. She's a great match for an active household that can give her the daily exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent leadership she needs to be her best self. If you're looking for a devoted, energetic companion who will be your shadow and your biggest fan, Marlene is your girl.
