Meet Solomon!

Solomon is a one-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who is simply happy to be here. After taking some time to adjust to the hustle and bustle of city life, he's really come into his own and now enjoys his daily walks and exploring the neighborhood.

Solomon is friendly with everyone he meets and has an easygoing, lovable personality. He's currently being fostered with a cat and would love to be friends; he occasionally tries to initiate play, but when she lets him know she's not interested, he's respectful of her boundaries and moves on. He is housetrained, but also uses pee pads occasionally.

Around the house, Solomon is a calm and easy companion. He's quiet when left alone, doesn't demand much, and is happiest just hanging out near his people. Whether you're working from home, watching TV, or going for a stroll, Solomon is content to be by your side.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

Despite their size, dachshunds are bold and courageous, with a curious nature that can sometimes lead to mischief. Their endearing personality and adaptability make them popular pets worldwide.
