Maltese Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet Falkor, a 2-month-old, 7-pound, male Maltese mix.

Falkor is a bundle of joy who lives up to his legendary name! Super sweet and medium-energy, he is always ready for a wrestling match with his foster siblings, regardless of their size. He's a friend to everyone he meets, even extending his playful spirit to the household cat.

When the day's adventures are over, Falkor is a dream at bedtime; he settles into his crate without a fuss and sleeps soundly through the night. He is also making excellent progress with his house manners, consistently hitting his target on the puppy pads.
Whether he's recharging in a warm patch of sunlight or piling up for a nap with his siblings and humans, Falkor is a master of the snuggle. He is wonderful with children and is looking for a family that enjoys plenty of "TV time" cuddles.

Falkor is being fostered in Staten Island, NY and his adoption fee is $800.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. The Maltese is a small toy breed known for its glamorous white coat, which is long, silky, and virtually hypoallergenic. They are gentle, affectionate companion dogs that thrive on human companionship and make wonderful family pets. Maltese dogs are playful, intelligent, and alert, with a confident demeanor despite their small size. They require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious coat and are suitable for apartment living due to their size and adaptability.
