Meet Mayo!

She is an 8-month-old approximately 4lb multi-breed domestic shorthair who is always looking for head scratches. If your perfect cat shows her belly and sleeps next to you every night, Mayo is your future pet.

A perfect day includes Mayo playing with any toy that exist, running around the house and finding a dark hiding spot to nap, unless you're around, then you'll lap will do. She would love nothing more than to become your shadow. Mayo's superpowers include being completely litter trained, totally content to sit around all day in the sun, and finding toys. She will start a bit shy and skittish, but once you begin petting her head she warms up instantly. She will show you her belly within minutes of first pet.

She lost her tail before reaching foster stage so she prefers not to be touched on her lower back and she can occasionally lose her balance. Mayo gets along with other adult cats as she was fostered with 3 other female kittens her age.

Some of Mayo's favorite things are aggressive scratches all around her head. She loves to eat any treat-- salmon, tuna, wet cat food, she just loves to eat!

If you're looking for a medium energy lovable cat who loves play and enjoys a good combo of alone time and cuddles, then Mayo might be your perfect match!

Mayo is currently being fostered in Gramercy, Manhattan and her adoption fee is $200.

"Kittens are only adopted in pairs or to homes with other friendly, social pets. They are very social by nature and need to be with other pets for their socialization.

Mayo's adoption fee is $200; to adopt a pair of kittens, the combined adoption fee is $325.

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. All adults are combo tested; for some litters of kittens who have not been exposed to other cats, only one kitten in the litter may be tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and helps us continue rescuing animals.
