Meet Lulu!

Lulu is a 6-year-old, 13-pound Chihuahua mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. She loves being close to her people-whether she's curled up beside you for a nap, soaking up pets and cuddles, or simply keeping you company in the same room. Meal times are one of her favorite parts of the day, and her joyful little hops at breakfast and dinner are guaranteed to make you smile.

Lulu enjoys exploring the outdoors and is a wonderful walking companion. She loves taking her time in the park, sniffing the grass, and taking in the world around her. She's also a fantastic city dog who isn't bothered by traffic or loud urban noises. One of her favorite activities is people-watching, especially when she's riding comfortably in a backpack and taking in all the sights.

This little lady has a few special talents. She's an excellent watchdog who will let you know when someone is outside the door, and she isn't afraid to stand her ground. Despite her petite size, Lulu is confident and self-assured, happily holding her own around much larger dogs. She particularly enjoys meeting other dogs and gets especially excited when she encounters friendly male pups.

While Lulu may be a bit cautious when meeting new people, she warms up with patience and kindness. Once you've earned her trust, you'll discover a loyal companion who forms deep bonds with her humans. She is house-trained and also uses pee pads as needed. Lulu is comfortable staying home while her family is away and doesn't require a crate. The best part? Coming home to her enthusiastic welcome. Her excitement when she sees her people return is pure joy.

Lulu is currently being fostered in Brooklyn (Fort Greene/Clinton Hill), NY and her adoption fee is $550.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
