Meesha *Arriving 11/6* D12945 - Chihuahua and Corgi Dog for Adoption

Meesha is a sweet, affectionate girl who is ready to find her forever home! Found wandering the streets of Texas alongside her companion, Meeka, Meesha is looking for a family who will give her the love, patience, and security she deserves.
Meesha is the more laid-back one of the duo. She enjoys the simpler things in life, including lounging around, getting attention from her people, and having a comfortable routine. She can coexist with other dogs, though she isn't overly interested in them, and may enjoy playing with dogs who match her energy level. She would do best with dog-savvy kids who understand the importance of giving her time and space to feel comfortable.
Meesha is smart, playful, and affectionate. She's crate-trained but will need some basic training as she adjusts to her new life. She may take a few minutes to warm up to new people, so patience and allowing her to build trust at her own pace will go a long way.
Until Meesha feels safe and secure with her new family, keeping her on a slip lead when going into a fenced backyard is recommended to help prevent her from wandering off.
With a little patience, a lot of love, and a cozy spot to lounge, Meesha has all the potential to become an amazing lifelong companion.

Meesha is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 11/6/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30am and 11:00am.
