Macaroni *Arriving 10/24* D12650 - Chihuahua and Dachshund Dog for Adoption

Looking for a companion who wants to be near you without being overly clingy? Meet Macaroni, or Mac for short!
Mac is a sweet, easygoing girl who enjoys being part of the family without demanding constant attention. She'll happily follow you from room to room, but she's just as content entertaining herself with a toy on the couch while you go about your day. She has excellent house manners, and does fine in a crate. She's also making great progress with her leash skills.
Mac loves being part of a pack and would prefer a home with other playful dogs. She gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and isn't overwhelmed by multiple dogs in the household. She also ignores cats, making her a great potential addition to a home with other pets.
Mac is initially shy around unfamiliar people, but she's very polite about it. She doesn't bark at guests or jump all over them. Instead, she quietly keeps her distance until she feels comfortable. Because she can become spooked by unfamiliar people, a home without young children would be best.
If you're looking for a sweet, respectful companion who enjoys your company without needing constant attention, Mac might be the perfect girl for you. Give her a little patience while she gets comfortable, and you'll have a wonderful companion who is happy just being part of your life.
