Runner - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Enterprise, Alabama

Meet Runner.

Runner is an 11-year-old, 3.4 lb teacup Chihuahua who has perfected the art of being tiny, fabulous, and absolutely convinced she belongs in your arms.

She is almost completely hairless, and honestly, there is no explanation for it. But Runner has decided clothes are the answer, and we support her fashion choices.

Runner wants to be carried. Everywhere. All the time. In your arms, in a carrier, wherever you are—she wants to be there too. She is a true Velcro baby with big eyes, big ears, lots of kisses, and just enough attitude to let you know when she thinks you've gone entirely too long without holding her.

She can be intimidated by other dogs, so pushy dogs are definitely not her thing. She may do well with a calm, respectful small dog who understands boundaries. She is good with cats and rides wonderfully in the car as long as she can be close to you.

Runner is not fully housebroken, but she will use pee pads. Because she is only 3.4 lbs, she cannot be outside unattended. She also isn't a fan of young children, so she's looking for a home with older, respectful kids—think teenager and up.

And when Runner finally realizes you mean it when you say it's bedtime? She'll curl up in her bed and go to sleep.

She is tiny. She is ridiculous. She is a little bit vocal. She is VERY cute. And she absolutely knows it.

Runner is looking for a home where being carried around like the tiny queen she believes she is is not only accepted, but encouraged.
