Meet Brownie — Your Next Great Companion!

Brownie is a 6-year-old, 14-pound long-haired Chihuahua (currently sporting a shorter haircut) who is ready to find his forever family!

Brownie has one eye, but that doesn't slow him down one bit. He loves walks, and the second the leash comes out, he is ready to go! He also loves car rides, people, and other dogs. Honestly, this little guy is an all-around great dog.

Brownie is potty trained and crate trained, although he could probably be trusted to enjoy some freedom outside his crate. He would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal little sidekick.

Because of his limited vision, Brownie can get startled if a dog rushes into his blind spot or if someone pets him unexpectedly from that side. He does just fine when he knows what's coming; he simply appreciates a little heads-up.

Brownie is also an opportunist. If a door is open, he may decide it's time to explore. It's not excessive, but it's something his forever family should be aware of and manage.

All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption.
