Meet Rumor.
Rumor is an 11-year-old, 4.8 lb little lady who is looking for a home that understands that tiny dogs can come with some very specific opinions. And Rumor definitely has a few.
She absolutely loves being held and would happily spend plenty of her day curled up with her person. She may take a little time to decide that you're trustworthy enough for belly rubs, but once she gets comfortable, she's a sweet little companion.
Rumor will need regular brushing to keep her coat looking and feeling its best. And unlike some tiny dogs, she has made her feelings about clothing very clear: she does not like to be dressed. So no tiny outfits for this girl.
Rumor is good with cats and could potentially live with a low-key, small dog who isn't pushy. She is not a fan of small children, so she needs a home without young kids.
House training is going to be a work in progress. Rumor is not house trained. She may use a pee pad when supervised, but she is not reliable with it yet. Her new family will need to be willing to continue working with her and give her time and consistency.
Because of her tiny size, Rumor should never be outside without a human with her at all times. She is not a dog who can simply be turned loose in the yard.
Rumor is a little older, a little opinionated, and very much a lap dog. She doesn't need a busy household or a bunch of chaos. She needs someone who appreciates the tiny dog lifestyle: lots of cuddles, patience, brushing, supervision, and letting her decide when belly rubs are acceptable.
If you're looking for a tiny companion who would much rather be held than hustling around the house, Rumor may be your girl.
