Meet Noodles

The teacup Labrador.

Okay... not really. Noodles is actually a 15.5-pound, 10-year-old little guy who is probably some kind of Chihuahua mix, but look at that face! He gives us Labrador vibes — just in pocket-sized form.

Noodles came to WAG after his owner passed away, and he is now looking for someone to be his person for the rest of his life.

This little guy LOVES people and absolutely loves going for walks. He is leash trained and enjoys getting out and about with his humans. He is also a great car rider, so he is ready to be your little sidekick.

Noodles is house trained, but he does best with a routine and a little human participation. He needs you to actually go outside with him rather than just opening the door and expecting him to handle business on his own. And nighttime? Nope. Noodles does not appreciate the dark. So his forever person needs to be willing to walk into the yard with him for those evening potty trips.

He can also get intimidated by things he hears but can't see. If the neighborhood is quiet, he's perfectly comfortable going outside. But if he hears the neighbors moving around and can't see where the noise is coming from, he can get nervous. This is why Noodles needs someone who understands that patience and consistency matter.

Noodles is crate trained and does well in his crate. Occasionally you may have to put him in because he has other ideas, but once he's in there, he's quiet and perfectly content.

He uses a dog door and enjoys spending time outside soaking up the sunshine. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home, although he's not looking for a roommate who needs to be attached to him 24/7. Noodles prefers having his own space and is perfectly happy doing his own little thing.

He has no known health issues and, at 10 years old, he's at that wonderful age where he has left the puppy nonsense behind but still has plenty of life and adventures ahead of him.

Noodles isn't looking for a complicated life. He wants a person who will give him a routine, take him for walks, sit with him when he needs reassurance, and let him be the sweet little companion that he is.

If you're looking for a loyal little sidekick with a Labrador face in a Chihuahua-sized package, Noodles might be your guy.

All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption.
