Meet Flapjack!
Flapjack is Mama Waffles’ little runt, and at 6 weeks old, he weighs 5.8 lbs.
But don't let his smaller size fool you. This boy has a personality all his own.
Flapjack is the sensitive, thoughtful one. While his siblings are busy turning the world upside down, Flapjack is often sitting back and taking it all in. He likes to observe before jumping into the chaos, and there is something pretty darn sweet about watching his little mind work.
He is well socialized with children and other dogs and is growing up surrounded by plenty of people, puppies, and everyday activity. He is currently litter-box trained, has started going outside, and is learning how to use the dog door.
He is still a six-week-old puppy, though, so housebreaking and crate training are still ahead of him. He plays hard, naps hard, and is learning all the things a baby puppy needs to learn.
His mama is Waffles, a lemon Beagle, and Daddy remains a complete mystery. Because we don't know what Dad looked like, we estimate Flapjack will be somewhere around 25–40 lbs grown.
He'll be ready for his forever home around mid-October.
If you have a soft spot for the quieter little guy who takes a minute to figure things out before joining the party, Flapjack might just be your boy.
Puppies are a commitment, and Flapjack will need a family willing to put in the time for potty training, basic training, socialization, and all the other work that comes with raising a puppy.
The payoff? A lifetime of love.
