Hi, my name is Felix! I'm a RED pawprint, which means I need an experienced home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Timid, shy, curious, love's to follow his nose!
-Can Live with Kids: Unknown history - recommending dog savvy kids 16+ or an adult only home at this time. Up to counselor's discretion.
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history - likely ok with slow and supervised introductions.
-Can Live with Dogs: Likely ok with a dog of similar size/energy. All introductions done at WHS to ensure everyone gets along.
-Can do Apartment Living: Yes
-Potty Trained: Appears to be
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Not required, but may be beneficial to increase confidence.
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Nope, good to go!

Meet Felix - a shy little guy who's still navigating life inside of a shelter. Felix came to us from our friends over at PAWS to get a new set of eyes on him and find his perfect match. Like many chihuahuas, Felix is timid and will likely bond strongly to his trusted person. While we're still getting to know him here, we think Felix would do best in a quiet, low foot traffic home with adopters who are patient and gentle. We recommend giving him plenty of time to decompress and keeping his circle small as he gains confidence. As he gets more comfortable we are noticing his cute personality shining through in the way he wags his tail, perches up, and reaches his front paws towards you!
