Meet Callum, a 5-month-old Boxer mix, weighing 25 pounds (as of 4/29/26). Callum hails from Mississippi where he was surrendered by his owners. He's a young boy bursting with fun and guaranteed to make everyday feel like the best day ever!

Callum's Key Traits Include:

- Loving Attention: Callum thrives on human interaction and is always eager for cuddles and pets from strangers and kiddos alike! Don't be surprised if he gets a lot of admirers!

- A Playful Spirit: His silly nature ensures there’s never a dull moment. Who needs Netflix when you've got Callum at home? He also enjoys games and exploring his surroundings, making him a great companion for your next adventure.

- Sensitive Soul: While he loves to play, Callum can be a bit timid around overly aggressive dogs. When things get a little too intense, he seeks comfort from his human, showcasing his need for a safe space.

- Puppy Charm: With plenty of puppy energy, he still exhibits many cute puppy behaviors that will constantly keep you entertained. He also makes friends with other dogs! He hasn't met cats yet, but maybe one day! His happy personality shines through in everything he does, from his playful antics to his affectionate snuggles, making the perfect pet!

Since Callum is still young, he'll need help with basic puppy training, though he does have experience with leashing and as long as he’s taken out regularly, he won’t have accidents. Callum might as well be the dog version of Cupid because this playful pup loves to spread joy and love everywhere goes! Adopt him now!

All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

PLEASE READ: If a dog is listed, then s/he is currently available for adoption. Their information is correct to the best of our abilities and the information we have been given as of the day of posting. From time to time we receive new information/photos of a dog and we do recreate their listing, which means their old listing link will no longer be valid. If you are considering a dog but don't apply right away please make sure to search for the dog by name if the link you have no longer works.

Please note, GDRNE does not guarantee the breed of any dog or puppy unless stated that we have run DNA. All breeds listed are educated estimates. Note that if the dog is listed as an "Out of town pet" there are NOT additional transport fees - it is included in our adoption fee Our dogs are rescued from various situations. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted. To learn more about our *shelterless* rescue, adoption fees, and procedures, review the list of Frequently Asked Questions on our website at WWW.GDRNE.COM.
