Meet Nikona "Nikki" Mama, a 2-year-old Jack Russel Terrier mix, weighing 20 pounds (as of 6/5/26). This sweet little mama was found wandering along a highway in Tennessee, pregnant, alone, and in need of a safe place to land. Not long after her rescue, she welcomed eight beautiful puppies into the world and devoted herself completely to raising them. Now that all of her babies are ready to find homes of their own, it's finally her turn!

Nikona is the perfect compact companion. Seriously! She loves her people and is happiest when she's by your side, soaking up all your attention and affection. And you won't be able to help it. She's so darn cute!! The only thing she may love almost as much as her humans? Chipmunks! This girl definitely has that classic Terrier spirit and would be thrilled to help keep your backyard squirrel and chipmunk-free. Guess Alvin, Simon and Theodore won't be singing in your backyard anytime soon!

Because of her Terrier instincts and love of critter-chasing, Nikona would do best in a home with a secure, fenced yard where she can safely explore, play, and keep an eye on the local wildlife.

After everything she's been through, she hopes you'll have patience as she adjusts to your cozy home, though she is house-trained and great in a crate! Nikona is ready for a family to call her own with a soft bed and pillows made of clouds. What? This mama deserves some pampering after 8 puppies!
