This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Beckham - a 1 yr/11 month old (4/27), Shepherd mix, who weighed 50 pounds (as of 11/12/24). Beckham and his brother, Donovan, were found as strays and are now looking for families to call their own!
His foster shares: "Beckham is a very healthy, happy boy! He is outgoing and very smart. He is young so he will need a family who is committed to training.
He has a great personality and you can't help but love him for his cute ears!! He’s very adventurous and loves to explore. He also loves making new human friends, especially kiddos.
While he still has puppy energy, he enjoys snuggling with you after a nice play session with his doggy friends.
He loves other dogs and will run up to everyone to say "hello!" He's receiving lots of love and we promise to take care of him until he finds his forever home!"
All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be.

The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
