We are absolutely, completely, unapologetically obsessed with Raina.
This stunning 98-pound Bernese Mountain Dog came to us from a Lancaster commercial breeder after what was supposed to be a routine wellness exam before being bred. During her veterinary visit, a large hernia was discovered, so she was surrendered to rescue instead.
From the moment she arrived, Raina stole every heart in the building. She is the definition of a gentle giant: sweet, affectionate, and endlessly loving. She adores people and approaches life with a calm, happy disposition that makes everyone feel like her new best friend.
Raina walks beautifully on a leash and is always happy to join you for a stroll. But her favorite part of any walk? The moments when you stop. The second you pause, Raina will gently insist on holding your hand, often placing a giant paw into yours as if to remind you that she's right there and loves you very much. It's one of the cutest things we've ever seen.
If you've been dreaming of a loyal companion with a heart as big as she is, Raina might just be your perfect match.
Simply put: Raina is the best girl. And we can't wait for the lucky family who gets to call her theirs.
She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. She also had her hernia repaired.
