Hi, I'm Rioh!

I'm one of those puppies who is almost impossible to resist!

Have you seen my beautiful tan coat, sweet floppy ears, big soulful eyes, and adorable white blaze running down my forehead and across my little muzzle? And my white paws? They're pretty cute too!

But I'm more than just a pretty face. I'm a sweet, playful, affectionate puppy who loves people, kids, and other dogs. I especially enjoy playtime with my two and four-legged friends, and I'm pretty good at reading other dogs and knowing when they want to play. When playtime is over, I'm happiest curled up beside you getting all the snuggles and affection I can get.

I can be a little unsure when meeting new people, but give me a couple of minutes and I'll warm right up. I'm pretty much happy all the time once I'm comfortable!

I'm still working on all those important puppy skills, including potty training, crate training, and walking nicely on a leash. I can make some typical puppy noises and may be a little vocal in my kennel, but I'm otherwise a pretty easygoing guy with moderate puppy energy.

I haven't been exposed to cats yet, so that's still unknown.

I'm the perfect combination of fun-loving puppy and professional cuddler. I'm ready for a family who will let me play, explore, learn, grow, and then snuggle up beside them at the end of the day.

Rioh is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 9/26/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30 - 11:30am. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
