Chipper D11824 - Hound and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption

Chipper is the Johnny Knoxville of puppies - constantly tumbling around while pulling stunts, rolling, flopping, flipping and yes, often tripping over himself. Some might say he's not the brightest bulb in the tanning bed, but he is a certified goofball that lives to please! He will choose a stick over a toy any day of the week, with his brother (or the nearest dog) being the next best thing to tackle. He's getting used to cats and kids, and is your typical puppy needing help learning not to jump and mouth. He would do better with older kids until he learns to keep his chompers to himself!

Chipper is getting used to doing his business outside and can be kenneled all night with no accidents, but still working on housetraining when he's out and about.
Like all puppies, Chipper is still learning about the world. His ideal home will provide the training, consistency, patience, and socialization every puppy needs to grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog. He's eager to learn and will thrive with a family committed to helping him reach his full potential.

Chipper's journey began in Texas, where he and his littermates were abandoned. When they entered foster care, they needed plenty of love, good nutrition, and time to heal. Today, Chipper is a healthy, happy puppy who's ready to leave his past behind and find the family he's always deserved.
