Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 14th, 2026 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm!
Meet Max.
Max is a darling little almost 3-month-old, 6-pound male Beagle mix puppy. Max and his brother (Grinchy) and sister (Cindy Lou) make up the Whoville litter. The Whoville litter is a trio of 3 sweet and playful little Beagle mix puppies with lots of personality and puppy kisses to give to everyone and anyone they meet. They love adults, children and any kind of animal they have encountered. Max is the smallest of the litter, and just a tiny bit more reserved. He follows the lead of his larger siblings and is usually the first one to settle down for a nap.
Max may be a little bit smaller, but he can hold his own against his siblings amidst all the wrestling and shenanigans that occur. Max was just a little bit stand-offish when he first came into foster care, but he has become increasingly affectionate and confident with every day. He likes exploring the yard, playing with toys and wrestling with his siblings. Once all the play has ended and he's tired out, he seeks out his foster mom and brother and sister to cuddle up to. Max has puppy energy now but is likely to be a medium energy dog when an adult. Max is six pounds now and will probably be a small sized dog when fully grown, (but it's always anyone's guess with mixed breeds). He uses puppy pads reliably in the pen and is ready to start potty training. As with all puppies, Max will need to be taught boundaries and given the opportunity for daily exercise. Based on breed, a fenced in yard is preferred but not required. Breed experience would be ideal but not necessary. Although every dog has their own unique personality, it is also best to research the characteristics of any breed that you are looking to adopt to make sure that they align with your family's lifestyle.
Max is a sweet and affectionate little Beagle mix puppy, with a great temperament. If you have the love and commitment to give him the stable and loving home that he deserves, please apply today. He would be a wonderful addition to most families.
Max is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
