Ladies and gentlemen, please meet Francine Fluffy Face, a pint-sized bundle of chaos, cuddles, and the most spectacularly ridiculous little face you've ever seen.
At just one year old, Francine has already lived through more than any puppy should. This sweet girl is a survivor of an Amish puppy mill, where she didn't receive the care she deserved. But don't let her rough beginning fool you. Francine is ready to make up for lost time, and she intends to do it with enthusiasm, affection, and a healthy dose of Frenchie nonsense.
Let's talk about what makes Francine extra special.
Her ears are decorative, not functional.
Francine is deaf due to previously untreated ear problems. Her ear canals are extremely thickened, and surgery may be an option to address this condition. Her future family should be prepared to discuss her ongoing ear care and potential surgical needs with a veterinarian.
She is completely, utterly, spectacularly tailless.
Not a tail. Not a nub. Not even a little suggestion of a tail. Because of her unique anatomy, Francine needs a family committed to keeping her backside clean and monitoring for irritation. It's a little extra maintenance for a whole lot of love.
Potty training is a work in progress.
Francine is still learning that bathrooms are outside activities. Puppy mill dogs often don't get the opportunity to learn normal household routines, so she'll need patience, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement.
Stairs? Never heard of them.
Francine hasn't figured out stairs yet. They're apparently a strange architectural invention she has not approved of. She'll need some help navigating them safely while she learns.
Other dogs? YES, PLEASE!
Francine absolutely adores her foster siblings! She would love a friendly, confident canine sibling in her forever home. Having another dog to help her learn the ropes and navigate her new surroundings would be wonderful for this little lady.
Personal space is overrated.
Francine LOVES her people. Snuggling is serious business, and she'd be delighted to have a human who appreciates a little Frenchie-shaped shadow following them around.
Behind that derpy face is a clever little brain!
Francine may look like she has approximately three thoughts bouncing around in her adorable head, but don't be fooled! She's a very smart girl with plenty of energy, curiosity, and personality. She wants to explore, play, learn, and experience everything that life has to offer.
Francine's Dream Home
Francine is looking for a family who understands that special needs don't mean less love. They just mean loving a little differently.
Her ideal home would have:
A securely fenced yard, strongly preferred for her safety because she cannot hear approaching cars, people, or other dangers.
A friendly canine companion, preferably one who can help her feel confident and comfortable.
Patient humans willing to continue potty training and help her learn household routines.
An understanding of her medical and hygiene needs, including possible future ear surgery and regular backside cleaning.
Plenty of time for snuggles, playtime, and affection.
A Little Different. A Lot of Wonderful.
Francine Fluffy Face doesn't know she's different. She doesn't know that her ears don't work, that she's missing a tail, or that her face sometimes looks like she's just received some deeply confusing news.
What she does know is that people are wonderful, other dogs are fantastic, and being loved feels pretty darn good.
After spending her first year in a puppy mill, Francine deserves a lifetime of soft beds, full bellies, silly adventures, patient guidance, and humans who think her quirks are just part of her charm.
Francine isn't looking for someone to feel sorry for her. She's looking for someone to love the heck out of her.
And trust us, she's going to love you right back.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
