Noodle - Labrador Retriever and Basset Hound Dog for Adoption in Cincinnati, Ohio

Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 14th, 2026 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm!

Meet Noodle!

Noodle is a very sweet 1 year old Pointer/Basset/Lab Mix who weighs about 22 lbs and still growing.

Noodle lost her home after a housefire and came to her foster home very confused. Her confidence grows each day but will need a patient family willing to give her a little time to adjust.

Noodle's crate is her safe space and she will happily go in there on her own. She cherishes her toys and loves to snuggle with them in her crate. A kong filled with peanut butter is a favorite as well!

Noodle has been working on her housetraining and has made tremendous progress. She goes potty right away when taken outside. When away, her foster family puts down pee pads and she is very good about using those as well. Consistency will be key to her success.

She is still learning to walk on leash. No doubt she'll figure that out quickly with some gentle encouragement.

Noodle is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $275.00.

To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

The Basset Hound is a unique and recognizable breed known for its long body, droopy ears, and soulful eyes. Originating from France, they were originally bred for hunting small game like rabbits due to their keen sense of smell and sturdy build. Despite their laid back and affectionate nature, Basset Hounds are also persistent and independent thinkers, which can make training a bit challenging. With their low energy levels and love for lounging, they make wonderful companion dogs for families seeking a loyal and easygoing pet.

The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.

VISION To help rescue more animals, more quickly, by working in a positive, professional and collaborative way with our community....
