2 Years Old | Terrier Mix | Professional Troublemaker
Don't let the adorable little face and scruffy blonde fur fool you. Behind those sweet eyes is a tiny criminal mastermind with absolutely no intention of behaving herself.
Meet Cindy. She's 20 pounds of pure, unfiltered MENACE, and we wouldn't have her any other way.
Cindy came to us from a rural shelter, and while we don't know much about her life before rescue, we can confidently say this girl has enough personality for about six dogs.
First things first: Cindy would like everyone to know that she is NOT a small dog. Sure, the scale might say 20 pounds, but in Cindy's mind, she's approximately 85 pounds of unstoppable canine greatness. And she fully expects everyone to treat her accordingly.
Her favorite playmates? The BIG dogs, of course.
Why would she waste her time wrestling with someone her own size when she can body-slam, chase, and generally terrorize her much larger foster siblings? Cindy absolutely LOVES playing with the big dogs, and she's convinced she's just as big and tough as they are.
One of her favorite hobbies is stealing toys from her larger foster siblings and then proudly parading around the yard, daring them to come get their belongings back. Keep-away is practically an Olympic sport in Cindy's world, and she's going for gold.
And let's talk about that terrier personality.
If you've ever loved a terrier, you already know. If you haven't, well, Cindy would be delighted to introduce you to the experience.
She's nosy. She's mischievous. She's ridiculously smart. She's always investigating something, getting into something, or plotting her next adventure. Cindy firmly believes that rules are merely suggestions and that everything in the house is potentially a toy.
But underneath all that glorious chaos is a genuinely sweet little girl who absolutely adores her people.
Cindy loves spending time with her humans and is just as happy cuddling up on the couch as she is creating absolute mayhem in the backyard. She also adores her foster siblings, whether she's wrestling with them, stealing their toys, pestering them relentlessly, or snuggling up beside them when the day's adventures are over.
She's equal parts troublemaker and cuddle bug.
Cindy's Dream Home
Cindy is looking for a family who appreciates a dog with a BIG personality packed into a little body.
A fenced-in yard is a must. This girl needs space to RUN, RUN, RUN! She loves racing around, playing keep-away, and burning off all that terrier energy.
A playful canine sibling would be wonderful. Cindy absolutely thrives on having furry friends to wrestle with, chase, annoy, and eventually cuddle. Bonus points if they're bigger than she is!
Plenty of toys. Cindy loves ALL kinds of toys. Her own toys, your toys, her foster siblings' toys... especially her foster siblings' toys.
People with a sense of humor. Cindy is a true terrier through and through. Her future family should appreciate her mischievous nature, clever little brain, and endless enthusiasm for life.
Lots of love and involvement. Cindy wants to be part of the action. Whether you're playing outside or relaxing on the couch, she wants to be right there with you.
Cindy isn't looking for a boring, quiet life. She's looking for adventure, friendship, a backyard to conquer, toys to steal, and humans who will laugh at her ridiculous antics before scooping her up for some well-deserved snuggles.
Is she a menace? Absolutely.
Is she probably plotting something right now? Without question.
Is she worth every ounce of chaos? A thousand times YES.
If you've been searching for a scruffy little sidekick with the confidence of a Rottweiler, the energy of a caffeinated squirrel, and the heart of a total sweetheart, Cindy might just be your girl.
Cindy is ready to bring 20 pounds of love, laughter, and absolute nonsense into her forever home.
Cindy is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $400.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
