Huckleberry is a true love bug, he insists on giving you hugs and kisses when you're his buddy. He originally came to us from a shelter partner in rural Louisiana, so the big city is still a bit overwhelming for Huckleberry, but he's making progress everyday! Huckleberry is sure to make a great companion and addition to your family!

: Working on Housebreaking: Making progress with a consistent schedule and positive reinforcement.

: Will benefit from continued training. Busy neighborhoods are overwhelming for him, so Huckleberry would benefit from a calm neighborhood and experienced handler, or a backyard.

: Dog-friendly: Gets along with other dogs and may enjoy having a canine companion.

: Cat-friendly - Not sure, This pup hasn't met cats with us yet! Slow intro needed if adopted into a home with a cat.

Best with Older Kids: Would thrive in a home with older, dog-savvy children who can respect their boundaries.
