If you're looking for a little shadow with a big heart, I might be the perfect match for you! I'm Jeff, a 12 week old Australian Shepherd and Terrier mix, and I'm already about 9 pounds of sweetness with plenty of growing left to do. I'm a laid-back guy when I'm not busy playing, although my brother and I can definitely get a little rowdy when we're having fun together! So far, I've shown that I'm very comfortable being a lap dog, and I really love being close to my people. I tend to get attached and want to stay near you, especially when we're outside. I'm usually the first one to come running when you call me! I'm working hard on my housebreaking and crate training. I may whine a little when I'm first put in my crate, but I settle down within a few minutes. I'm already doing well on a leash and learning all kinds of good manners. I'm getting better at sitting and waiting before meals and before going inside or outside, and I'll even sit nicely while you take off my leash and collar if there's a treat waiting for me afterward. I'm a sensitive boy, too. I can be very aware when I've done something wrong, and sometimes my feelings seem a little hurt if I'm not getting enough attention - which, honestly, is pretty adorable. I respond best to gentle guidance and lots of encouragement. I could be happy in a house with a fenced yard or even an apartment, as long as I have people who want me nearby and are willing to keep helping me learn. I'm still growing into my personality, so we're not quite sure what my adult activity level will be, but one thing is already clear: I want to be your loyal little shadow and stay close to the people I love!

**As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out**

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
