Every pot has a lid! My name is Zesty, and I am definitely a cat who lives up to his name. I was born on July 3, 2023, and I have a big personality, plenty of independence, and a playful spirit. I'll be honest, though - I am not always the gentlest player, and I am still learning that claws and teeth are not always part of the fun. I have permanent vision loss, estimated to be around 80%, but I don't let that stop me from enjoying life. I also have feline herpes and chronic respiratory issues, so I need someone who understands that I may require a little extra care. My claws don't always retract properly, so regular trims help keep everyone comfortable. I can also be a biter. I wasn't properly socialized when I was bottle-fed, so I never quite learned all the manners that people expect from cats. But that doesn't mean I can't learn, grow, and form a meaningful bond with the right person. I need someone patient, understanding, and willing to see the cat underneath the challenges. I am independent, curious, playful, and absolutely full of personality. I would do best as an only cat. I may not be the easiest cat, but I believe there is someone out there who will understand me and give me the chance I deserve. Everyone has their someone, right? Maybe you're mine.
