Little Dude - Cattle Dog and Miniature Pinscher Dog for Adoption in Springfield, Missouri

Hi, I'm Little Dude, but you can call me Opie, or Little Dude, or Dude, whatever you want. I love meeting new people and playing with canine friends, so what they call me doesn't really matter.

I'm about a year old and weigh 32 pounds, so I'm a great age and size to fit into a great family! I showed up at a place in the country, trying to get the resident dogs to play with me through the fence. Thankfully, the kind people who live there took me in. They tried to find my family but couldn't, so they helped me find my way to Rescue One. What a relief!

I've come a long way. I'm basically house and crate trained (very occasional accident in the house and initial whining in my crate). I'm actually pretty good on my leash, and I'm a very smart boy. I've learned 'sit', 'off', 'shake', 'come' and I respond to 'no'. I'd love an active family who spends time with me (I love to learn!), takes me on adventures, and loves me like the great dog I am. Older, respectful children would be fine, and we'll all want a securely fenced yard (I'm not that big, ya know), where we can play endless games of tug-of-war.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
