**Oreo**
Meet Oreo, an affectionate, calm, cuddly one-year-old who weighs seven pounds! He's low energy and deeply people-oriented — a true velcro dog who wants nothing more than to be your shadow. Oreo can be a little scared in new situations at first, but he adjusts quickly and looks to his person as his safe space.
He's a little shy meeting people at first, but after about ten minutes he's covering you in kisses! He's great with other dogs and is even good with cats. His days are simple and sweet — he wakes up giving kisses, follows his people around for snacks, and is a total lap dog who just wants to curl up in your arms all day. He's a total couch potato and only has eyes for his people, happiest when he's as close to you as possible.
He's pee pad trained and is now working on transitioning to going outside, with treats and a canine walking buddy helping him feel more confident along the way. He's good on a leash too.
Oreo would thrive with another dog to show him the ropes, though he'd also be perfectly happy alone since he mostly just wants his person nearby. He's a perfect fit for apartment living and would do best in a loving, moderate household with a steady rhythm, plenty of company, and lots of couch access.
He has a unique feature — he's missing half of one of his back paws! It doesn't slow him down one bit, and it actually suits his low-key, indoor lifestyle perfectly. He doesn't need long hikes or intense exercise, just a comfortable home and a loving owner to adore.
