Meet Oliver!

Oliver was found roaming as a stray, understandably unsure of the people around him. But one very kind person visited him several days in a row, patiently earning his trust and helping him feel safe. Oliver made his way into our rescue, and he’s been doing wonderfully in his foster home.

He is good with other dogs and has a sweet, loyal personality. He's done well with older kids and would probably be fine with any age child. He bonds closely with his person and really enjoys being part of a family. He can be a little shy around men at first, but once he knows you’re one of his people, you’ll have a devoted friend.

Oliver is a petite little guy weighing in at under 35 pounds. He’s a pretty excellent houseguest. Oliver enjoys having a secure yard where he can hang out, sniff around, and simply relax. He’s perfectly capable of entertaining himself, but he’s just as happy to spend time hanging out with his humans.

Oliver may not be the dog who runs up to everyone he meets demanding attention. He’s more of a “give me a little time, and I’ll give you my heart” kind of guy. And when he chooses you, you’ll have a loyal BFF.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This dog is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $300 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. NOTE: We cannot guarantee breed mix or full grown size. Both are estimates based on physical characteristics and any known history.
