Meet Artemis!

At around 4.5 months old, Artemis is a beautiful brown ticked tabby with an unusual coat pattern that makes her truly one of a kind. Unlike her tabby sister, her tiger stripes are muted. Just gorgeous! Very similar to the coat of an Abyssinian. Her mama was a stray who had a litter of kittens, but thankfully Artemis and her siblings have been safe and loved in foster care since they were very young.

Artemis is a sweet, sensitive girl who may take a little time to decide that her new home is her kingdom—but once she does, get ready to be adored! Cats have a pretty wonderful way of settling into their new domains. First they investigate every corner, find the coziest sleeping spot, decide which windows have the best views, inspect the toys, and eventually choose their favorite person. We have a feeling Artemis will be very good at all of the above.

She'll need a gentle approach while she adjusts to a new place, but once she feels safe, shell warm her way into your heart. Artemis can make friends with other cats and could happily live with a cat-friendly dog, making her a wonderful addition to many types of families.

LOCATION & TRANSPORT:

This cat is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out of town adopters, we offer virtual meet-and-greets and can arrange transport to many states in the Northeast. (The $175 adoption fee includes transport to the city on this listing. Our transports run every 2-3 weeks to that location.) We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.

VETTING:

All of our cats are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive to their adopters spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped.
