Meet Goblin!

Goblin is an adorable little boy who is currently about 7 weeks old and will be making his way to his foster home in Millsboro, Delaware the weekend of October 2.

Based on his appearance and what we know about Mom, our best guess is that Goblin is an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler and Terrier mix, possibly with some Chihuahua or other small-breed ancestry. Dad is unknown, so his exact breed and eventual adult size are anyone’s guess.

Goblin has the cutest oversized ears, scruffy little muzzle, and tiny puppy face. He is still very young, so his personality is just beginning to develop. Like any puppy, he will need a family prepared for potty training, leash training, crate training, puppy chewing, socialization, and everything else that comes along with raising a baby.

Goblin is expected to arrive in Millsboro, DE the weekend of October 2.

His adoption fee is $550.

Because Goblin is too young to be altered prior to adoption, all puppy adoptions require a signed spay/neuter contract. The adopter agrees to have the puppy neutered at approximately 6 months of age. The adopter is responsible for scheduling and paying for the procedure. Paws Deep Animal Rescue does not cover the cost of the neuter.

Once proof of neuter is provided to the rescue, $100 of the adoption fee will be returned to the adopter via PayPal or check.

Most of our dogs are rescued from high-intake shelters in Texas or directly from the streets of South Texas, where stray dogs are an ongoing problem. Your adoption fee helps cover the significant cost of bringing them to safety, including transport to our foster homes, age-appropriate core vaccines, deworming, microchip, heartworm testing when age appropriate, and other veterinary and rescue expenses.

We partner with VCA Animal Hospitals. Every adoption comes with a complimentary First Exam at any participating VCA location within the first 14 days of adoption. VCA also provides limited health guarantee coverage of up to $250 for certain minor illnesses, such as kennel cough or ear infections, diagnosed during that initial 14-day period.

We do not guarantee the breed of any of our dogs or how large they will be when fully grown. The breed listed is our best guess based on appearance, personality traits, and any information available about the parents. We also cannot guarantee that any rescue dog is not mixed with pit bull. This is a standard part of adopting a mixed-breed rescue dog.

Paws Deep Animal Rescue is a nonprofit rescue. Any excess revenue is used to help cover the care of animals with additional medical needs and allows us to continue saving dogs who may otherwise be left behind.
