Mia's Puppies 1-5 - Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Gainesville, Virginia

MIA'S PUPPIES 1-5

Chihuahua
🇺🇸
Gainesville, Virginia
September 13th
female, small, baby

DESCRIPTION

Look at these little faces! Mia's puppies officially 5 weeks old 9/13/26!

They are finally wide awake, alert, and starting to act like real dogs. We just started them on a mixture of watered-down kibble and a homemade puree of chicken, rice, and egg, and they are obsessed. They're also starting to play with each other now and they are honestly the sweetest things ever.

Their mom is a 12 lb Chihuahua, but we have no clue who dad was. They’ll be ready for their forever homes on October 4th (when they hit 8 weeks), but you can apply today so they can go home right away.

We haven't named them yet, so right now they're just numbered 1 through 5 from biggest to smallest. There are 4 girls and 1 little boy:

Puppy 1 (Girl): The biggest of the bunch and a total social butterfly. She’s super confident, loves her food, and is always the very first one to waddle over and follow humans around.

Puppy 2 (Boy): Our only little guy! He’s another huge food fan. He is incredibly playful, interactive, and loves jumping right into the middle of whatever his sisters are doing.

Puppy 3 (Girl): Definitely our chill girl so far. She’ll join in on playtime for a bit, but she is perfectly happy staying on the sidelines and testing out the fluffiness of the dog beds.

Puppy 4 (Girl): The ultimate explorer. Every single time they get a chance to play outside of their pen, she immediately takes off to go investigate the world.

Puppy 5 (Girl): Our tiny girl! She’s the runt of the litter and still working on her coordination compared to the others, but she is just so bright-eyed and happy.Their personalities are just starting to show, and it’s so fun watching them figure out how to play.

If you are interested in adopting there is an application below! This is the first step. We do not schedule meet and greets without an approved application.

98% of our adoptables come from out of state. There are higher fees associated as we have to pay to have the animals transported. We are a non-profit rescue. Any access revenue made is used to care for animals with additional medical expenditures that would otherwise result in adoptable dogs having to be left behind and euthanized.

The adoption fee for this dog is $600 which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter. You will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will need proof of sterilization from the vet in order to receive the $100.
