Hi there, I'm Periwinkle, but you can call me Peri. I was named Periwinkle because of the color of my eyes. For some reason, humans are just obsessed with the beauty of my eyes. For the life of me, I can't imagine why, but I'm good with whatever makes them happy.

I'm a laidback, 59-pound, 2-year-old American Bulldog mix guy who gets along with other dogs and respectful, sturdy children (I sure don't want to knock over a tiny one - I would feel so bad). I'm just about house trained, great in my kennel, and a dream on my leash! Until recently, I haven't had anyone take the time to work with me, but I've already learned 'sit' and I'm working on other fun things.

I would thrive in pretty much any loving home, as long I have people to please and a warm bed to share. A fenced yard and a kind canine playmate would be great, but as long as I get plenty of exercise, like long walks, doggy daycare and/or dog parks, a home as an only dog, and without a fence, would be fine. I might even be good as a shotgun rider in a big rig, with plenty of stops and walks, of course.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
