DESCRIPTION

Suit up, brave hearts—Paladin reporting for duty! I'm 1.5-years-old, 45-pounds, and ready for my forever home!

I'm a brilliant, noble Border Collie mix boy, on a quest for love, adventure, and lots of belly rubs. I have the brains and the bravery. I'm house, crate and leash trained. and not only graduated my intermediate training class, I recently became an official Canine Good Citizen!! I'd love to continue my training in my forever home.

I'm playful, sweet, and always ready for a game, a cuddle, or a new challenge. I'm pretty sure I'm a lap dog and I love to cuddle when evening rolls around. I will also patiently wait if you are drying my feet off after a yard romp. I get along with older, sturdy kids (may knock little ones over), and dogs (with proper introductions and acclimation, of course). I would also be fine as your one-and-only.

I'll need a house setting with a fenced yard. I'm too high-energy for an apartment and I think chasing and barking at my herding ball should be an Olympic sport - I'd win a gold medal! I would do best with an active family who loves adventures like hiking or running. Since I am a herding dog, it would be best if my adopter is familiar with my breed! So, if youre looking for a smart, kind-hearted warrior to join your family on lifes grand adventure, pick me—Sir Paladin of Puppyshire, at your service!

**As a reminder, young dogs need lots of time and attention. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out**

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*

**Rescue One is unable to provide an exact prediction of how big or small your rescue puppy will become when full grown. Any approximation provided is no guarantee.**

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity.
