**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**
***Sugar MUST have a cat friend as she journeys on to a better life. Any of her many siblings is a great option, but Sugar — well-named — can easily integrate herself into a clowder of friendly, playful cats with little effort,
Sugar’s momma birthed them in a paper mill, and lucky for the kittens, they were rescued before anything bad happened to them in a busy, dangerous workplace where no one is paying attention to a bunch of kittens. Sugar, Sprite, Sammy, Sparkle and Soda are thriving with the loving care of their foster mom.
This 13-week-old bundle of joy is pure energy and sweetness. Sugar is playful and always ready for her next adventure, whether that's chasing toys or pouncing on imaginary prey. When she's not zooming around, she's curled up purring in your lap, a love sponge soaking up every bit of attention.
Sugar is a chatty girl who loves to “talk” to her people, and she is so very soft and sweet that you'll find it hard to stop cuddling her. She's already spayed and litter trained, so she's ready to settle right in. She also gets along great with other cats, making her a perfect addition to a multi-cat home.
In a world where sugar is generally deemed as detrimental to good health, Sugar the brown tabby kitten is definitely an excellent source of wellness and joy, able to boost moods and contribute to overall wellbeing of her people simply by being her sweet self. If you want a loving, lively companion who will fill your home with purrs and play, this little one is waiting for you!
Would you like to make Sugar, and perhaps her sibs too, a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: https://www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.
Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.
Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
