Gracie (solo kitty) - Tabby and Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Vaughan, Ontario

GRACIE (SOLO KITTY)

Tabby, Domestic Short Hair
🇨🇦
Vaughan, Ontario
October 19th
female, medium, senior

DESCRIPTION

***Gracie was originally an outdoor cat who roamed her neighbourhood looking for food. She also had many litters before being rescued and found her adoptive home. The eartip on her left ear is the badge that cats sport when they were enrolled in the TNR program, but Gracie was too sweet to be released. After 6 years of having a home, she is once again seeking her person/family. This time, she would like to have her person/family all to herself and not have to compete for attention from other pets or children.

Gracie is a gentle grey tabby of 11 years old. She is a senior cat who tragically lost her previous owner and is looking for a new forever home. At her foster home, Gracie was courageous as she adapted to her new environment. It’s time for Gracie to find a forever home she can fully open herself up to!

Gracie is a timid cat who finds her confidence over time. She requires a patient person who regularly attempts to connect with her. She likes to be approached calmly and at her eye level. Though Gracie appreciates her space, she ultimately seeks human companionship. When comfortable, this shy cat turns into a social love bug, adoring all the pets, head scratches, and belly rubs. During the day, Gracie can be found curled up in a cozy, warm, and dark place for safety. Through the evening and into the night, Gracie comes alive and is very social and curious.
Gracie loves Churu cream treats, tuna is her favourite. She enjoys her wet food at regular meal times in the morning and night. However, in her foster home, she felt most comfortable eating at night when the house is quiet.

Gracie enjoys looking out the window and having a bird's eye view at the top of a cat tree. When petting her head, Gracie will push her head into your hand for more! She can't help but make biscuits, purr, and roll onto her back. With time, she will sit on your lap for pets and could cuddle for hours, so long as you sit still. Gracie loves to be brushed and would do well with a cat corner brush or face scratcher. She is a solo cat who would do best in a household without any other pets or young children.

Gracie is a sweet and gentle cat for anyone wanting to slow down and enjoy cuddling up with a good book and a purring cat. She would love a quiet and calm home, where her caregivers are patient and encourage her to explore.
