Five months old, tiny for her age, and sporting the biggest, most beautiful eyes you’ve ever seen. Meet Chanel, a petite brown-and-orange tabby with a whole lot of love waiting to unfold.

Chanel is a shy little girl who’s still learning that humans can be trusted. Fast movements can startle her, so she’ll need someone who approaches her gently and gives her the time she needs to feel safe.

But here’s the beautiful thing about Chanel: she already knows how to enjoy being loved.

Approach her slowly, offer her some gentle pets or chin rubs, and she’ll happily stay, purring away as she settles into the moment. She might not be the first kitten to run into your arms, but she’s already showing us that affection can be wonderful when it comes with patience and kindness.

And when it’s time to play? Oh, does this girl have a secret wild side! Bring out a wand toy, and watch her come alive! It’s such a joy to see her confidence shine through as she gets caught up in the fun. She also doesn’t mind chasing a ball or spring.

When she’s not chasing toys, Chanel is the definition of a chill little companion. She’s laid-back, well-behaved, and loves curling up beside another cat for a cozy nap. Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
