Bianca — A Resilient, Gentle Soul Ready for a Safe, Quiet Life

Bianca was found in a wooded area behind a row of homes, trying her best to care for her five tiny two-week-old kittens. She was painfully thin — the kind of thin that makes you wonder how she had managed to feed her babies at all. Very quickly, we realized the truth: despite her devotion, her milk had run out. She was on her last legs, and her kittens would have followed if help hadn't arrived.

Bianca and her babies had to be separated so she could receive urgent medical care. The kittens were taken in by a dedicated foster who fed them around the clock, and Bianca was placed under veterinary and foster supervision to rebuild her strength. And she did. She fought her way back with quiet determination, proving just how strong she truly is.

As she recovered, it became clear that Bianca had once been an indoor cat. When you approach her, there is no hissing, no striking out — just a nervous but willing acceptance of gentle petting. She is still shy, still figuring out that she is safe, but her sweetness shines through. With patience and kindness, she will blossom into a wonderful, quiet and loyal companion.

Bianca has fully adjusted to indoor life and the company of other mature cats, although she has not formed appreciable bond with any specific cat in her foster home. She enjoys comfort, warmth, safety, and the relief of no longer having to raise litter after litter. At her age, who knows how many babies she has had to protect and feed! Now she finally gets to rest. She is a good eater, enjoys most foods, and continues to gain strength.

Bianca deserves a home that understands her past and celebrates her future — a calm, loving place where she can relax, feel secure, and be cherished for the gentle, resilient lady she is.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
