Minnow - Tabby Cat for Adoption in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Meet minnow, a cute, diminutive patch tabby girl who came to us from a neighboring shelter. Minnow kept getting overlooked because she was particular when she decided to show affection. That shelter thought she may do better in our free roaming environment.

One of the first things we noticed with Minnow was he ears. She had a terrible ear infection and was treated within days. This has made a huge difference in how Minnow is feeling and may be th reason for her standoffishness at the other shelter. Here at Second Chance Minnow has been friendly, greeting visitors, wanting pets and being playful. Minnow is such a great name for her because of her petite build. She is quite the cutie-patootie.

We think Minnow would do best with a single adopter, a couple, or a family with older respectful kids. Minnow tolerates her roommates but doesn't necessarily need them. We think she'd shine as the only cat in the household. Who needs bigger fish to fry when you could have sweet, little Minnow?

Minnow has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Minnow has an approximate birthdate of 06/23/2025. Her adoption fee is $95.

If you are interested in Minnow or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.
